Assia Amine - is my full and real name. Assia is the name given to me by my grandfather “BAHAJ" (as I used to call him during my childhood)! During the summer of 1983, mom gave me birth in Agadir, one of beautiful Moroccan cities located on the shore of the Atlantic Ocean. BAHAJ has given me the name of one of the greatest women of all time, Assia (might be written as Asiya as well) wife of the Pharaoh that never lost her faith in God! Growing up in my grandparents’ house, I gained most of my personality from my grandmother such as power, ambition, caring for the family, love for cooking and others .... My educational degree is in economics and political science with decent experience in the field of insurance.
Who is Assia Othman ?
In a bright day full of hope and aspiration for success, I left my beloved city to the City of Light (la ville-lumière) Paris seeking for completing my masters. I didn’t know that it is the destiny who selected Paris to me! I didn’t know that I’ll not go back to my Agadir after this trip except as a visitor! I didn’t know that I’ll meet there my beloved husband. During the summer of 2008, Mr. Sherin Othman, an Egyptian young man with attractive brown eyes and lovely oriental smile, has decided to spend part of his annual leave, to relief the full year of work in Abu Dhabi, with his mother in Paris. It didn’t take from him more than a month after our first eye contact in Champs-Elysées in Paris to declare his desire to marry me! Four months later, we were married and I became Assia Othman and shifted to the lovely city, Abu Dhabi! Currently, we were blessed by two kids Zyad (November 2009) and Lamar (October 2012).
